Golden Girls Kitchen Pop-Up in San Francisco

Martin Sign Company recently had the pleasure of assisting with the transformation of a shuttered, South-of-Market restaurant into the Golden Girls Kitchen, a wildly popular drag-dinner club that is a must-see experience for fans of the popular TV show. A fun and tasty menu accompanies a night of campy fun.

For their pop-up event in San Francisco, Bucket Listers wanted their Golden Girls Kitchen to have a window covering solution that would not only block out unwanted sunlight during the daytime but also create an intimate and inviting atmosphere for their evening dinner performances. Martin Sign Company was the perfect fit to provide the custom window covering, and get it installed.

Working with the designers and organizers of Golden Girls Kitchen, MSC fabricated and installed interior and exterior elements, helping to turn a vacant space into a tour de force of color and kitsch. We provided a wall mural, transformed an existing, exterior blade sign, provided a background banner for more pictures and a few other printed graphics for the walls.
